Why are these old motels still in LaPlata? They are unsightly to look at and what is the point of the business besides the obvious cheap place to live? I mean these aren't businesses that are attracting people traveling on 301 or folks using it for any sort of conference center. I hope the people that own these properties sell them off to developers so something more attractive can be built.
